Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction & acceptance
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of courseplus.co.uk (the "Platform"), operated by Course Plus Ltd ("Course Plus", "we", "us", "our"), registered in England & Wales with its registered office in London, United Kingdom.
By creating an account, purchasing a course, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Definitions
- "Course" means any individual learning content made available for purchase on the Platform.
- "Learner" means any individual who registers for or accesses a Course.
- "Business Customer" means an organisation purchasing seats or licences under a Team Training, White-Label, or other business arrangement.
- "Certificate" means the CPD QC accredited certificate issued on completion of a Course.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Purchases, licences & access
When you purchase a Course, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access that Course for your own learning purposes. Course access does not expire once purchased, unless your account is suspended or terminated under these Terms.
You may not share your account, resell access to a Course, or make Course content available to any third party except as expressly permitted under a White-Label or Reseller agreement with Course Plus.
5. Payment & pricing
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely via Stripe at the time of purchase. Team Training plans billed monthly or annually will renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date from your account dashboard.
We reserve the right to change course prices at any time; changes will not affect courses you have already purchased.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our separate Refund Policy. In summary, refunds may be requested within a limited window from the date of purchase, provided the Course has not been substantially completed. See our Refund Policy for full terms.
7. Certificates & accreditation
Certificates are issued automatically on completion of a Course and are CPD QC accredited. Certificates remain valid indefinitely and can be independently verified via the link provided on the certificate. Course Plus reserves the right to revoke a Certificate obtained through fraudulent completion of a Course (e.g. automated or bulk completion not reflecting genuine learning).
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, or publicly share Course content without authorisation
- Use automated tools to complete Courses or generate Certificates fraudulently
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
9. Intellectual property
All Course content, branding, and Platform software remain the intellectual property of Course Plus Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you, other than the limited licence to access purchased Course content described in Section 4.
10. Team Training & business accounts
Business Customers purchasing Team Training, White-Label, or other partnership arrangements are additionally bound by the specific plan terms presented at the point of purchase or in a signed partnership agreement, which take precedence over these general Terms in the event of conflict. A company administrator is responsible for the conduct of employees they invite to a Team Training account.
11. Third-party services
The Platform relies on third-party services, including but not limited to Stripe for payment processing and third-party video hosting for course delivery. Your use of these integrated services is also subject to the respective third party's own terms, where applicable.
12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Platform and Course content are provided "as is." While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy and quality, we do not guarantee that completing a Course will result in any particular employment or business outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Course Plus Ltd's total liability arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant Course or plan in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; this does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Refund Policy.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Contact us
Questions about these Terms can be directed to legal@courseplus.co.uk, or via our Contact page.
